For me I never was a fan of full body, some swear by it. Im my experience, I do not think there will be much difference between the two types as it relates to weight loss. I know diet is the most important factor in losing weight but if you are trying to lose weight would you prefer full body or a spit routine. I have never felt that turning a weight training workout into a cardio session is benefical either for weight training OR as a cardio session.
